Alkarim Jivraj is one of Canada’s most experienced venture capital advisors. Over the past decade, he has raised over $1 billion in capital for emerging growth companies.

Prior to founding Intrepid, Alkarim was a member of the senior leadership team at Yorkton Securities, a leading technology investment banking firm. Alkarim was responsible for heading up Yorkton’s technology investment banking practice.

Alkarim presently sits on the boards of Streamlogics Inc. and The National Angel Organization, as well on the advisory boards of a number of technology companies. He is a member of the Canadian Venture Capital Association.
